Pinerite® Size Lineup
Same formula, right size for where you need it.

You are viewing the 2 oz travel jar — the most packable size in the lineup. For a sink-side jar at the cabin or dock, the 10 oz is the better fit.

The one that lives in your tackle tray

Under a dollar. Fits anywhere. No excuse not to have one.

You've been out on the water all morning handling crawlers, cut bait, or walleye fillets. You're done fishing, ready to eat lunch, shake hands with someone, or get in the truck. Your hands smell like a bait shop. You have no soap.

The 2 oz travel jar solves that permanently. At $0.99 it's cheap enough to keep one in every boat bag, tackle box, kayak crate, backpack, and truck console you own. Same pine terpene and borax formula as the full-size jar — just enough for a trip or two without adding any real weight or bulk to your kit.

Fits anywhere

Small enough for a tackle tray slot, boat bag pocket, PFD pouch, or backpack side pocket. At this size there's no reason to leave it behind.

Cuts fish and bait odor

Pine terpenes break down odor compounds from fish, crawlers, leeches, and cut bait. Works where regular soap quits.

Stock multiples for under $5

At $0.99 a jar, keep one in every kit you own — tackle box, boat bag, kayak crate, pack, and truck. Never be without it.

Gentle on skin

Lanolin in the formula keeps skin from drying out. No harsh solvents — safe for regular use even on a multi-day trip.

Phosphate-free

Biodegradable and phosphate-free. Fine to use at a stream bank or camp wash station without worrying about what rinses away.

Made in the USA

Same Pinerite formula made in Fort Collins, Colorado for over 10 years — just sized for the trail, the water, and the road.

One for every kit you own.

The whole point of the travel size is that it's cheap enough and small enough to be everywhere at once. Stock a handful and you'll always have it when you need it.

What's in it

Pine Tree Powder — terpenes break down fish odor and bait smell at the source rather than masking them.
Borax — natural mineral cleaning power that cuts grease and grime without harsh detergents.
Sodium Soap — the lathering base that lifts dirt and residue from skin.
Lanolin — conditions skin and prevents drying during repeated outdoor use.

Pine sourced from dying trees and branches cleared for fire mitigation — no old-growth harvest.

Complete your on-water clean-up kit

The 2 oz travel jar pairs directly with the mWraps™ Finger Bandage Roll — both fit in the same tackle tray slot and cover the two most common hand issues on the water: fish smell and cuts. For bites and stings, add the Bug Sucker Insect Bite Kit. If you want a larger jar for the cabin or dock, see the Pinerite® 10 oz Jar.

A note on sourcing

Pinerite sources its pine tree powder from dying trees and branches cleared during fire mitigation operations — not from harvested old-growth timber. The formula contains no phosphates and is biodegradable, making it appropriate for outdoor and near-water use. As with any soap, avoid direct contact with eyes and keep out of reach of small children.

Questions & answers

Is this the same formula as the larger jars?
Identical — pine tree powder, borax, sodium soap, and lanolin. Same cleaning power and natural pine scent as the 10 oz and 20 oz jars, just in a pocket-size container.
How many washings do I get from a 2 oz jar?
Roughly 40 or more using about half a teaspoon per wash. Enough for a multi-day trip or a few weeks of regular on-water use before you need a refill.
Does it actually fit in a tackle tray?
Yes — the 2 oz jar is small enough to drop into a standard tackle tray slot, a boat bag side pocket, a PFD chest pocket, or the hip belt pocket of a hiking pack.
Is it safe to use near streams or lakes?
Phosphate-free and biodegradable — designed with outdoor use in mind. Rinse away from the water's edge when possible, but it's safe for camp and streamside use.
What sizes are available in the Pinerite lineup?
Six options total — 2 oz travel jar, 10 oz home jar, 20 oz shop size, bar soap, Katie 3.5 oz head-to-toe cleanser, and a 4 oz lotion for after washing. See the size grid at the top of this page for links and current pricing on each.
