Pinerite 14001 10 ounce Powdered Hand Soap
Pinerite®
Natural Heavy Duty
Hand Soap – 10 oz
Fish smell is stubborn. Bait smell is worse. Regular hand soap moves it around — Pinerite actually removes it. Pine terpenes and borax cut through odor, grease, and grime without harsh solvents or artificial fragrance. The powdered formula is economical, natural, and gentle enough for everyday use. A small shake on wet hands is all it takes.
Pinerite® Size Lineup
Same formula, right size for where you need it.
You are viewing the 10 oz jar — the most popular size for a cabin or dock sink. For boat bags and tackle boxes, the 2 oz travel jar or bar soap are worth a look.
Why pine soap and fishing go together
Regular soap doesn't cut fish smell. Pinerite does.
Anyone who has cleaned walleye at the dock or handled a livewell full of bass knows the problem. You can wash your hands three times with standard soap and still smell like a bait shop an hour later. Pine terpenes are natural antibacterial compounds that actually break down odor molecules rather than just masking them with fragrance. Borax adds scrubbing power without the drying effect of harsh detergents.
Pinerite has been made the same way for over a decade out of Fort Collins, Colorado. No artificial scents, no phosphates, sustainably sourced pine from fire mitigation clearing. It smells faintly of real pine — not pine-scented cleaning products — and it actually works. That's the whole thing.
Cuts fish and bait odor
Pine terpenes break down the odor compounds that stick to skin after handling fish, bait, and lures. Works where regular soap gives up.
All-natural formula
Pine tree powder, borax, sodium soap, and lanolin. No harsh solvents, no artificial fragrance, no phosphates. Biodegradable and eco-friendly.
200+ washings per jar
A half-teaspoon on wet hands is all you need. One 10 oz jar easily lasts a full season of regular use at the dock or cabin sink.
Gentle on skin
Lanolin keeps skin from drying out — unusual for a heavy-duty cleaner. Safe for daily use even if you're washing up multiple times a day.
Phosphate-free outdoors use
No phosphates means it's safe to use at camp or near the water without worrying about what rinses into the lake or river.
Made in the USA
Pinerite has been made in Fort Collins, Colorado for over 10 years. Same formula, same sourcing, same jar.
Keep one anywhere you wash up after fishing.
The 10 oz jar is sized for a permanent spot next to a sink — cabin, dock house, garage, or boat cleaning station. For on-the-go, the 2 oz travel jar fits in a tackle tray or boat bag pocket.
How to use it
Wet your hands
Start with wet hands — the powder activates and lathers with water. The wetter the better before you add the soap.
Shake about 1/2 teaspoon
A small amount goes a long way. Shake roughly half a teaspoon into your palm — that's typically enough for a thorough wash.
Scrub well
Work the powder into a lather and scrub thoroughly, especially around the nail beds and knuckles where fish odor and bait residue tend to collect.
Rinse clean
Rinse completely with water. No residue, no artificial scent left behind — just clean hands with a faint natural pine smell that fades quickly.

What's in it
Pine sourced from dying trees and branches cleared for fire mitigation — no old-growth harvest.
Part of the Clean-Up & Care lineup
Pinerite pairs naturally with the mWraps™ Finger Bandage Roll — wash up with Pinerite after handling fish or bait, then have mWraps ready for the cuts and scrapes that come with a day on the water. For hook removal and bite treatment, see the DHUKR® Hook Removal Tool and Bug Sucker Insect Bite Kit.
A note on sourcing
Pinerite sources its pine tree powder from dying trees and branches cleared during fire mitigation operations — not from harvested old-growth timber. The formula contains no phosphates and is biodegradable, making it appropriate for outdoor and near-water use. As with any soap, avoid direct contact with eyes and keep out of reach of small children.
