Same Pinerite pine terpene and borax formula that cuts fish odor and grime — now in a bar you can toss in a boat bag, pack in a dry bag, or keep at a camp wash station. Pinerite® Size Lineup
Same formula, right size for where you need it.

You are viewing the bar soap — the most packable format for boat bags, dry bags, and camp. For a sink-side jar, see the 10 oz or 20 oz powdered options.

The bar format earns its spot in a boat bag

All the cleaning power of Pinerite — nothing to spill, nothing to lose the lid on.

The powdered formula is great next to a sink. But out on the water, at a remote campsite, or packed into a kayak crate, a bar is just easier. No jar to open with slippery hands. No powder going airborne in the wind. No lid rolling off the dock. Drop it in a mesh bag or soap dish, toss it in your pack, and it's ready when you need it.

The bar adds shea butter and premium oils to the core Pinerite formula, making it suitable for full-body use — not just hands. Same pine terpenes that break down fish odor and bait smell, same borax cleaning action, same natural fragrance. Just in a format built for the outdoors.

Pack-anywhere format

Bar format travels without spilling, leaking, or needing a sealed lid. Fits in a mesh bag, soap tin, or zip pocket — takes up almost no space.

Still cuts fish odor

Same pine terpene and borax core as the powdered formula. Breaks down fish smell, bait residue, and grease rather than just masking it.

Shea butter added

The bar formula includes shea butter and premium oils — gentler on skin for full-body use at camp or after a long day on the water.

No phosphates — near-water safe

Biodegradable and phosphate-free. Safe to use at a camp wash station or anywhere your rinse water might find its way back to the land.

Multi-trip bar

A single bar holds up across multiple camping or fishing trips. Rinse and let dry between uses — lasts longer than you'd expect for the price.

Made in the USA

Pinerite has been made in Fort Collins, Colorado for over 10 years. Same formula, same sourcing, same commitment to natural ingredients.

Built for wherever you end up washing up.

The bar format shines anywhere you're away from a proper sink setup — it needs nothing but water to do its job.

What's in it

Pine Tree Powder — terpenes break down odor molecules from fish, bait, and grime at the source.
Borax — natural mineral cleaning power without harsh detergents or solvents.
Shea Butter — added to the bar formula to moisturize and condition skin for full-body use.
Premium Oils — additional skin nourishment that sets the bar apart from the powdered formula.

Pine sourced from dying trees and branches cleared for fire mitigation — no old-growth harvest.

Part of the Clean-Up & Care lineup

The bar soap is a natural companion to the mWraps™ Finger Bandage Roll — wash up after handling fish or bait, then have mWraps ready for cuts and scrapes. For a sink-side option, the Pinerite® 10 oz Powdered Jar is the go-to. After a long day, follow up with the Pinerite® Lotion to restore moisture.

A note on sourcing

Pinerite sources its pine tree powder from dying trees and branches cleared during fire mitigation operations — not from harvested old-growth timber. The formula contains no phosphates and is biodegradable, making it appropriate for outdoor and near-water use. As with any soap, avoid direct contact with eyes and keep out of reach of small children.

Questions & answers

Why pick the bar over the powdered jar?
Format. The bar needs nothing — no lid, no scoop, no risk of spilling. If you're packing a boat bag, dry bag, or camping kit, a bar is just simpler. The powdered jar is better suited for a cabin or dock sink where you want a lot of washings in one container.
Is the bar formula the same as the powder?
The core cleaning ingredients are the same — pine terpenes and borax. The bar adds shea butter and premium oils, making it suitable for full-body use and a bit gentler on skin than the powdered formula.
Does it actually remove fish smell?
Yes — that's what pine terpenes do. They break down odor compounds rather than masking them with fragrance. The bar has the same terpene action as the powdered formula.
Is it safe to use near the water or at camp?
Phosphate-free and biodegradable — specifically appropriate for outdoor use near water. That's part of why the bar format fits well in a fishing and camping context.
What sizes are available in the Pinerite lineup?
Six options total — 2 oz travel jar, 10 oz home jar, 20 oz shop size, bar soap, Katie 3.5 oz head-to-toe cleanser, and a 4 oz lotion for after washing. See the size grid at the top of this page for links and current pricing on each.
